We're Hiring: Chief Facilitator

We're looking for a dedicated, field-based Chief Facilitator to work closely with young people, especially adolescent girls, across the villages of Dharangaon Block. This is hands-on, ground-level work: running workshops, walking villages, sitting across from local leaders, and being someone young people can turn to.

About the Role

The Chief Facilitator holds a central, on-ground role in how YOGI works with communities. You'll lead climate literacy and leadership workshops, guide village-level mapping and documentation, and facilitate dialogue between young people and the governance bodies that shape their lives, Gram Panchayats, schools, and local institutions. Above all, you'll be a steady, trusted presence for the young people we work alongside, week after week.

Position Details

Position: Chief Facilitator

Location: Field-based, across six villages within a 10 km radius, Dharangaon Block, Jalgaon District

Reports to: Project Coordinator

Compensation: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month, commensurate with experience, subject to applicable tax, plus a separate monthly travel allowance

Key Responsibilities

Facilitation
Conducting workshops and sessions that build climate literacy, confidence, and civic voice among young people, in schools and in the field.

Community & Field Engagement
Leading village-level mapping, community interviews, and on-ground documentation.

Governance Engagement
Facilitating structured dialogues between young people and Gram Panchayats or local governance bodies.

Mentorship
Serving as a consistent, trusted point of contact and mentor for the young people we work with.

Documentation & Reporting
Maintaining activity records and reporting regularly to the Project Coordinator.

Child Safeguarding
Holding every interaction with care and appropriate conduct, in line with YOGI's Child Protection Policy.

Who We're Looking For

• This position is open to women candidates only, given the safeguarding-sensitive, girl-facing nature of the field work.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Environmental Studies, or a related field.

• Fluency in Marathi or Hindi, with working proficiency in English.

• Willingness to be based locally and travel within a 10 km radius across six villages.

• Experience in community facilitation or youth work is valued, but a genuine willingness to learn and adapt matters just as much.
